When you send or claim a gift through PurseLink, we collect: the sender's name and email address; the recipient's name and, if the sender provides it, the recipient's email address; the gift amount and personal message; and the recipient's chosen payout handle. If a recipient chooses to claim a gift by text, we also receive that recipient's mobile phone number from the message they send us.
We use this information solely to deliver the gift (by email or printed card), to relay the recipient's payout handle back to the sender so they can complete the transfer, to reply with a claim link when a recipient texts us to claim a gift, and to provide customer support. Mobile phone numbers are used only to reply to a claim message that the recipient sends to us first.
PurseLink does not send unsolicited texts. A recipient claims a gift by text by sending the keyword CLAIM and their gift code to 254-221-8728; PurseLink then replies with a secure link to claim the gift — generally one message per request. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information — including mobile phone numbers — with third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for any purpose.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. All other categories of personal information are likewise never sold or shared for marketing or promotional purposes.
We retain gift records only as long as needed to deliver and support the gift, after which they are deleted.
