We want every gift you send to feel worth it. Here's how refunds work.
Email marisa@causealytics.com with the sender name and the gift amount, and we'll help. If your recipient hasn't claimed the gift yet, we'll refund your PurseLink fee to your original payment method — usually within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
If your recipient hasn't claimed the gift yet, we can refund your sending fee and cancel the gift link so it can no longer be claimed.
Once your recipient has claimed the gift, PurseLink's work is done — the link was delivered and claimed — so the sending fee for that send isn't refundable.
PurseLink never collects it, holds it, or moves it — so there is nothing for us to refund. When your recipient claims their link, they tell us how they'd like to be paid, we pass that to you, and you send them the money through your own Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Cash App, or Google Pay account.
That means if you've already sent the money and something goes wrong, it's between you and your recipient — the same as if you'd handed them cash. It also means your recipient always receives the full gift amount, with nothing deducted.
PurseLink is the message-and-delivery layer for a money gift: we help you write it, package it, and deliver it as a secure link — by email, printed card insert, or text. The transfer of funds is always made by you, the sender. That's why our refunds cover the fee you paid through PurseLink.
